Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in Reserve Bank of India
Educational Qualification: At least a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Age limit (as on 1 March 2012): Maximum 28 years
Pay Scale: basic pay of Rs 8,860 per month (i.e. Rs 8,040 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of Rs 8,040 - 410 - 9270 - 500 - 11,270 - 550 - 13,470 - 650 - 15,420 - 720 - 16,140 - 990 - 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances, viz. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately Rs 19,340. The total CTC of the candidate works out at the minimum to Rs 2,63,500 per annum.
Selection Procedure for recruitment in Reserve Bank of India: The selection procedure will comprise of Written Examination and interview. The Written Examination (WE) will be of 200 marks and will consist of 5 Objective Tests which includes the following.
  • Test of Reasoning (40 marks)
  • Test of English Language (40 marks)
  • Test of Numerical Ability (40 marks)

Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in Reserve Bank of India
Educational Qualification: At least a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Age limit (as on 1 March 2012): Maximum 28 years
Pay Scale: basic pay of Rs 8,860 per month (i.e. Rs 8,040 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of Rs 8,040 - 410 - 9270 - 500 - 11,270 - 550 - 13,470 - 650 - 15,420 - 720 - 16,140 - 990 - 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances, viz. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately Rs 19,340. The total CTC of the candidate works out at the minimum to Rs 2,63,500 per annum.
Selection Procedure for recruitment in Reserve Bank of India: The selection procedure will comprise of Written Examination and interview. The Written Examination (WE) will be of 200 marks and will consist of 5 Objective Tests which includes the following.
  • Test of Reasoning (40 marks)
  • Test of English Language (40 marks)
