Name of the Post : Short Service Commissioned Officer (Medical Officer)
Total No. of Vacancies : 120 Posts
Education Qualification : Pass in MBBS within 2 attempts / MD / MS / MCh / DM. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI. 
Candidates completing their internship by 31-03-2012 can also apply.
Age Limit : (As on 31-12-2012) Not more than 45 years.
Fee : Rs. 200/- Payable in the form of Demand Draft drawn at Nationalized Bank in favor of Director General, Armed Forces Medical Services, Payable at New Delhi. Write your name and address on the reverse of DD.
Pay Scale / Salary : Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,100/- + Military Service Pay (MSP) Rs. 6,000/- + Non Practicing Allowance (25% of BP) + DA + Other applicable allowance. Total emolument at minimum of pay scale at the time of joining will be Rs. 44,000/- per month
